The Sultanate of Darfur, as part of the Qadh Al-Sultan initiative to provide meals in Kalma camp for the displaced in South Darfur, has allocated a special day for Mayarm and the women of the camp, as part of the Qadh Al-Sultan initiative, which aims to provide urgent humanitarian intervention and alleviate the suffering of the displaced by providing meals through kitchens and takayas in a number of camps and areas in need.

The community solidarity initiative through the Qadh Al-Sultan initiative this time targeted women in Kalma camp for the displaced.

The Qadh Al-Sultan initiative provided a number of meals to the takayas and kitchens of the camp with the participation and supervision of the camp’s sheikhs, the leaders of the displaced, women and youth, as part of its urgent interventions to address the conditions of the displaced in light of the current circumstances.

The initiative comes under the generous patronage of Sultan Ahmed Dinar, Sultan of Darfur, and under the supervision of community leaders. The initiative aims to support kitchens and takayas in the cities, countryside and camps of the displaced in Darfur, in addition to providing health interventions in emergency events.

The Sultanate of Darfur has established a number of lodges and open kitchens in a number of Darfur cities and camps for the displaced as part of its solidarity project through the Sultan’s Cup Initiative.
