Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has put forth a comprehensive 10-point peace plan to end the war with Russia. The plan, first announced in October 2022, is the sole framework for peace that Ukraine has officially endorsed. Its key tenets include ensuring radiation and nuclear safety, securing food and energy supplies, releasing all prisoners, restoring Ukraine’s territorial integrity, and ensuring a withdrawal of Russian troops.
Despite diplomatic efforts and summits involving various international leaders, progress toward a resolution remains stalled. According to some reports, Ukrainian officials have agreed to talks with Russia without conditions and have accepted an immediate ceasefire, but Russia has refused to come to the negotiating table. The plan has garnered support from dozens of countries, who have met to discuss how to contribute to its implementation.
