Chinese State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi has urged all parties to play a constructive role in promoting peace and stability in the Middle East. Wang Yi made these remarks during the fifth meeting of foreign ministers from China, France, Germany, and Russia, which was held in Berlin. He emphasized that the current situation in the region is grave and requires a collective effort to prevent further escalation.

The Chinese diplomat highlighted the urgent need for a comprehensive and lasting ceasefire in the Gaza Strip. He called for strengthened coordination to ensure the smooth delivery of humanitarian aid and to support a “two-state solution” as the only viable path to resolving the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. The meeting served as a platform for the nations to discuss a coordinated approach to the crisis.

China’s active participation in this multilateral dialogue underscores its commitment to engaging with international partners to de-escalate tensions. Wang Yi’s statements reflect China’s consistent policy of advocating for dialogue and political solutions to regional conflicts.
