The Vice-President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), General Mohamed Hamdan Daglo, has affirmed his support for everything that would maintain the rule of law and achieve security and stability in the country, especially in the States of South and West Kordofan, directing the need to put an end to fighting and conflicts in all states of Sudan.
Daglo, addressing conclusion of Forum of Native Administrations for Peaceful Coexistence in the States of South and West Kordofan today at the Friendship Hall, noted that tribal conflicts and problems increased at a high rate after the change, calling on the communities to do away with advocates of seditions, and directed that the perpetrators of crimes be referred to the law and held accountable according to their crimes.
He praised the role of the Native Administration in addressing problems in the states, pledging to support them in providing solutions and addressing all conflicts. Daglo announced his adoption of establishment of an investigation committee to find out the crimes that occurred in the two states, and at the same time sent a message to SPLM-N led by Abdel Aziz al-Hilu and the SLM/A led by Abdel Wahid al-Nur to stop the movements and abide by the ceasefire and join the peace process.
The Vice-President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council announced his support for the change in the country and to the political settlement, and added, “we are with the youth, not against them, and we believe in the process of change and transition,” stressing that whoever attempts to return the country to before 2019 is delusional, and that cannot happen at all.
For his part, Counselor Mohamed Mukhtar Al-Nur, who is responsible for the Native Administration file in the Rapid Support Forces, said that the conference came in order to achieve peace and address the security violations that took place in the States of West and South Kordofan.
He called on the civil administration to put the outcome of the forum into practice, calling on the youth and women to urge society towards peaceful coexistence.
The leaders of the native administrations signed a document of pledge to work together for peace and curbing hate speech.
