How do Chinese people view China’s Covid policies? | A talk with Tings Chak

China recently eased all Covid restrictions and will open its border in early January 2023. This marks the closure of the three years of strict Covid policies in China since 2020. Several Western media has been attacking measures adopted by China in the past three years nonstop. But how do people who actually lived through lockdowns and quarantines in China feel? In this episode, me and Tings Chak, a researcher with Tricontinental: Institute for Social Research, exchanged our experiences living in China.
